City Of Norco issued the following announcement on Dec. 29.
The current spike in COVID-19 infections has created staffing challenges for Waste Management throughout Southern California. The company has adjusted its operational plan to complete open routes the following day. Please note, unrecovered trash, green waste and/or manure bins that were not serviced today will be serviced tomorrow.
Additionally, the scheduling of cart and bin deliveries and exchanges, along with bulky item pick-ups, has been delayed until Monday, January 18, 2021. Any customer who calls the company’s customer service center to request a bulky waste service, cart or bin exchange, or extra cart will be scheduled after that date.
Waste Management is committed to keeping customers updated of any temporary service delays, and will formally notify them of any service schedule changes through phone, text and/or email messages. The company is asking for Norco residents’ patience in these matters until its staffing capabilities are back to normal.
