On November 26, 2025, deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station East Rural Crime and District Team responded to a report of a stolen horse from the 56000 block of Monroe Street in Thermal. The investigation revealed that a bay thoroughbred mare, valued at about $80,000, had been taken from a local ranch.
Deputies identified two suspects during their investigation. On December 22, 2025, authorities arrested Zachery Cobbs, age 22, and Cinderella Von Falkenhausen, age 27, both residents of Temecula. The suspects were booked into the John Benoit Detention Center on charges of grand theft and conspiracy to commit theft.
Efforts are ongoing to recover the stolen horse and return it to its owner. “This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional details are available,” according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
