Deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to a theft report on January 22, 2026, involving a large quantity of beauty products at a location in the 1600 block of North Perris Boulevard in Perris. The Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) took over the investigation and identified two suspects: Janely Masvidal, age 45, and Briana Marin, age 29, both residents of Los Angeles.

According to authorities, Masvidal and Marin were connected to thefts across Riverside County, Orange County, and Los Angeles County. The total value of stolen items was estimated at about $20,000. Investigators also found that merchandise was being stored at an address in the 7900 block of Artesia Boulevard in Buena Park.

On January 28, 2026, RBST located and arrested Masvidal and Marin without incident in the 7900 block of Beach Boulevard in Buena Park. Both suspects were booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on charges including grand theft, organized retail theft, burglary, and conspiracy.

The following day, deputies executed a search warrant at the Buena Park address where they arrested Clementina Peralta, age 56. During the search, deputies found thousands of dollars’ worth of suspected stolen clothing and beauty products as well as marijuana vape products and several pounds of processed marijuana. A significant amount of US currency was also seized. Peralta was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for possession of stolen property.
