Suspect arrested after group assault leaves one injured in Lake Mathews

On December 6, 2025, deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an assault at 1:59 a.m. The incident involved a large group of adult males who reportedly assaulted two individuals inside an establishment. When authorities arrived, they found one victim on the ground with significant injuries, who was then transported to a local hospital. The second victim received treatment at the scene and was released.

Investigators from the Lake Mathews Station took over the case and identified Nathan Bohn, a 25-year-old resident of San Bernardino, as the primary suspect through investigative leads. On January 22, 2026, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Bohn was arrested without incident in the 300 block of W 34th St., San Bernardino. He has been booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of assault causing great bodily injury.

The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released additional information at this time.
