Home prices decreased in Mountain Center during the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Mountain Center fell by $16,000 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $495,000 - a 3.1% decrease over the $511,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Mountain Center in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Mountain Center for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,271, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
