Riverside median home prices rose by 22.2% in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Riverside rose by $95,500 while total sales increased by 232.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 870 homes sold, with a median sale price of $525,000 - a 22.2% increase over the $429,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 262 homes sold in Riverside in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Riverside for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,074, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
