Medicalsupply

City of Moreno Valley issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.

As California braces for the worst of the coronavirus pandemic, City officials are grateful for recent donations by local businesses of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Generous donations were received from Ford Motor Company, Proctor & Gamble, Amazon and Deckers Outdoor Corporation.

"We are deeply grateful for these companies' show of support for our community," said Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley. "Every one of these important items will be put to good use saving lives."

Moreno Valley residents can get free masks at the Employment Resource Center (ERC), located at 12625 Frederick St., or at any City library branch as part of the City's "We've Got You Covered" initiative. Moreno Valley has already distributed to residents 187,000 masks donated by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, government agencies, local businesses and other organizations
