Banning home prices fall in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Banning fell by $8,500 while total sales increased by 21%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $267,000 - a 3.1% decrease over the $275,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in Banning in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Banning for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,210, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
