Palm Springs home prices fall in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Palm Springs fell by $5,000 while total sales decreased by 50.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 241 homes sold, with a median sale price of $450,000 - a 1.1% decrease over the $455,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 485 homes sold in Palm Springs in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Palm Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,106, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
