Beaumont home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Beaumont rose by $24,750 while total sales decreased by 44.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 109 homes sold, with a median sale price of $364,000 - a 7.3% increase over the $339,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 196 homes sold in Beaumont in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Beaumont for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,258, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
