Beaumont home prices rise in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Beaumont rose by $13,250 while total sales decreased by 35.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 200 homes sold, with a median sale price of $350,000 - a 3.9% increase over the $336,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 310 homes sold in Beaumont in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Beaumont for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,258, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
