Mountain Center home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Mountain Center rose by $5,500 while total sales increased by 2.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $335,500 - a 1.7% increase over the $330,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in Mountain Center in 2017.

The median sales tax in Mountain Center for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,915, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for 2018.
