Deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of gunshots early Sunday morning on February 15, 2026. The incident occurred at around 12:37 a.m. in the 300 block of East Shaver Street, San Jacinto.

Upon arrival, deputies determined that the shots came from a residence in the area. They identified Brandon Fiore, a 38-year-old resident of San Jacinto, as the suspect. According to authorities, Fiore did not comply with multiple commands to exit his home.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence and assistance was requested from the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB). Fiore was taken into custody without further incident.

Fiore was booked at Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on charges including negligent discharge of a firearm, making terrorist threats, and obstructing a peace officer.

The investigation is ongoing and no additional details have been released at this time. Authorities are asking anyone with information about this case to contact Deputy Anderson Lauture at the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station by calling (951) 654–2702.
