The Riverside Sheriff’s Office announced on May 10 the death of Joshua Coan, a 44-year-old man from Menifee, California. According to the coroner’s press release, Coan died on May 9 at approximately 11:23 p.m. following an incident that occurred earlier that night.

The report states that both the injury and subsequent death took place on Railroad Canyon Road, about 0.38 miles west of Church Road in Lake Elsinore. The incident was investigated by the Riverside Sheriff’s Office – Lake Elsinore station under investigation number L261290103.

Coan’s next of kin have been notified, according to authorities. The press release indicates that for further information regarding the circumstances surrounding his death, inquiries should be directed to the investigating agency.
