On December 30, 2025, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at a business in the 22000 block of Town Circle in Moreno Valley. When deputies arrived at approximately 7:38 p.m., they found a 16-year-old male who had suffered a gunshot wound. Despite attempts to save his life, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Central Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. Authorities have not made any arrests and are working to identify those responsible for the shooting. The name of the victim is being withheld due to the ongoing investigation, and no additional information has been released.
