On February 6, 2026, the Perris Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team led a parole and probation compliance operation in Perris and nearby unincorporated areas. The effort included support from Central PACT, Jurupa Valley and Moreno Valley Special Enforcement Teams, the Perris Station Burglary Robbery Suppression Team, Regions 6 & 7 Gang Task Force, and CalFire Law Enforcement.
The operation focused on improving quality of life and public safety by targeting individuals with outstanding warrants or violations related to parole or probation. During the sweep, several arrests were made for offenses including parole violations, probation violations, narcotics possession, firearms possession, vandalism, burglary, indecent exposure, drunk in public incidents, and various vehicle code infractions.
According to officials: “This effort highlights the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and assisting Special Teams’ continued commitment to addressing crimes that negatively impact our community.”
Authorities emphasized that ongoing operations like this one aim to address repeat offenders while working within current laws. They stated: “It’s important to note that individuals who commit crimes are subject to arrest and prosecution. Operations like this one are critical in addressing repeat offenders, while also working with the framework of existing laws to promote both accountability and rehabilitation where appropriate.”
