On December 27, 2025, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at Sedco Boulevard and Mission Trail in Wildomar. The incident occurred at 7:33 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies found a male pedestrian in the roadway with significant injuries. They attempted life-saving measures before the individual was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The pedestrian was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities during the investigation. According to officials, alcohol or drugs are not believed to be factors in this collision. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
