A 61-year-old man, Ronney Vasquez of Moreno Valley, was found dead on December 31, 2025. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Bureau, Vasquez died at approximately 6:15 p.m. on El Sobrante Road, about 189 feet east of Mockingbird Canyon Road in Riverside.
Both the location of death and injury were reported as the same stretch of roadway. The specific time when the injury occurred remains unknown. The California Highway Patrol – Riverside Station is leading the investigation into the incident.
The coroner has notified Vasquez’s next of kin. “For additional information please refer to investigating agency,” officials stated.
This case has been closed by the coroner as a final report.
