On Friday, Feb. 28, former Martin Luther King Jr. High School standout Erika Barela’s current college team, the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Cal State Northridge Matadors.

The game took place at Matador Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Matadors this season.

The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at Matador Diamond against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
