Death of Shanna Webster under investigation by Hemet Police Department

On February 6, 2026, Shanna Webster, a 53-year-old resident of Hemet, California, died following an incident on the roadway. According to information released by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Bureau, Webster sustained injuries at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of North San Jacinto Street and East Devonshire Avenue in Hemet. She was pronounced dead at 6:28 p.m., about 110 feet south of the intersection where she was injured.

The Hemet Police Department is conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death under case number 2026-00996. The coroner’s office has confirmed that next of kin have been notified.

The coroner’s statement advised: “Refer all inquiries to investigating agency.”

No further details regarding the cause or manner of death were provided in this release.
